"Flight Desire" is a contemplative ceramic bust, its refined silhouette crowned with graceful wings. Behind the head, a small angel figure leans forward, poised for takeoff — a tender yet powerful metaphor for the eternal human longing for freedom and truth.
The composition reflects the artist’s own revelation: that true freedom is not found outside, but within. It speaks of aspiration, transcendence, and the moment when the soul remembers its infinite nature. _____________________________________________
Collection SEARCH — a rare and completed chapter
This sculpture belongs to SEARCH — a rare and intimate collection of hand-modeled clay busts, born during Elisaveta Sivas’ profound artistic and spiritual quest between 2016 and 2022.
Each piece in the series is a symbolic self-inquiry, exploring themes of love, relationship, identity, and the invisible threads that connect us. The compositions of heads combined with smaller figurative forms act as metaphysical allegories, gently inviting the viewer to contemplate the deeper questions of life.
The SEARCH period is a now-completed chapter in the artist’s evolution — which makes every work from this series a rare, unrepeatable artifact of her inner transformation. These sculptures will never be recreated or continued in the same way, making each one a true collector’s treasure.
