"Not in the Body, not in the Mind" is a stoneware ceramic sculpture that reflects on a fundamental realization: our most essential, luminous nature does not reside solely within the physical body or the analytical mind. Even in her earliest creative inquiries, the artist felt that our true essence is a core of light that transcends form and matter.
Today, this work resonates as a bridge between the seen and the unseen. It speaks to the mystery of how we inhabit our lives: it is not just about the tangible world, but about the quiet space within that connects us to something greater. With its minimalist contours, smooth sandstone surface, and contemplative presence, the piece embodies both fragility and strength. It serves as a gentle reminder to seek the unspoken, to listen to the silence beneath our thoughts, and to reconnect with the profound, unifying essence that lives in all of us.

An early foundation of the ANAKTORA somatic philosophy exploring the tactile roots of architectural presence. The SEARCH and TRUTH collections serve as the foundational research for ANAKTORA. Here, the pursuit of form, somatic presence, and spiritual inquiry evolved into the architectural philosophy that now defines my work.
