"You Need Two Wings to Fly" is a figurative ceramic sculpture that reflects on the necessity of inner balance. A crouching figure, poised between stillness and movement, is adorned with two delicate metal wings not as a symbol of heroism, but as a quiet reminder of the power of wholeness.

Born from an artistic exploration of resilience, the work was transformed by the artist’s own lived experience. What began as a study of strength through limitation revealed a deeper truth: while we may survive with one wing, true, sustainable flight requires two. In this sculpture, the wings serve as a metaphor for the harmony between effort and care, ambition and inner presence. The figure’s grounded posture captures the moment just before transformation, the threshold where strength is no longer born from struggle, but from restored integrity.
